A pool & outdoor living space enriched with practical amenities such as the wet bar, kitchen & entertainment area, as well as cleverly concealed elements like the balance tank nestled beneath the cabana, serving double duty as extra storage for beach essentials. The design is a testament to unparalleled luxury.

Capturing the essence of coastal living & reflecting the creamy hues of the main house, the honed stone finish & luxurious style set the stage for an outdoor sanctuary worthy of celebration.

The primary objective was to craft a space seamlessly blending relaxation & entertainment, drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of the tones & hues of the Hamptons-style main house. Emphasising enjoyment, the design mandated the inclusion of an entertainment cabana & the integration of state-of-the-art features wherever possible. This requirement was a non-negotiable & its integrity underpinned the design process to create a space that effortlessly fuses leisure with the highest of sophistication.
The most important touch point for Luxury Pools & Outdoor Living within the design process was understanding the client's goals & aspirations. So, to uncover this we embarked on a collaborative brainstorming session to identify key elements for inclusion while navigating any restrictions or obstacles. This site posed significant build challenges due to its steep terrain, a common feature among properties on the Central Coast, NSW. Armed with this information, we needed to prioritise usability & convenience by optimising the layout and flow of the space to accommodate various activities. This led us to incorporate additional spaces like a wet bar, kitchen, storage & entertainment cabana. We needed these inclusions so that the client could easily entertain without the need to access the main house due to the undulating topography. Ease of access & fluidity then inspired the framework for the design.
We then integrated an entertainment cabana equipped with modern amenities to provide the client with a versatile space for social gatherings & leisure activities. State-of-the-art features such as audio-visual systems & dynamic lighting solutions meant the space could cater to any entertainment experience.
Materials, furnishings & finishes of the highest quality to uphold the luxurious aesthetic & longevity of the design were selected. Playful elements were introduced to elevate the visual. Inclusions like the Star Breeze Block by Cubic Mouldings, the stunning Newport Outdoor Shower by Brooklyn Copper & Matala Limestone perfect circle stepping stones by Artisan Tiles fuse beauty with function effortlessly.
Meticulous attention to detail & craftsmanship throughout the implementation process was adhered to to achieve flawless results. To ensure that the client was at ease, we developed comprehensive technical drawings, construction documents, & specifications to guide the implementation process & ensure adherence to design intent. The topography presented obstacles such as difficult yard spaces, limited accessibility from top to bottom & complexities in construction due to the steep gradient. This didn’t deter the build process, it inspired it.
We built a gracefully curved stairwell facilitating seamless movement from the rear to the front of the house. This set the tone for how the guests entered the outdoor area from the main house. We incorporated walkways that connected the spaces & allowed us to use the space underneath creatively. We installed seemingly unassuming cabana walls that revealed intricate high-end features such as custom cabinetry, floor-to-ceiling seamless glass & custom-made white spigots that dot the pool balustrade. These finer details are a testament to ‘the labour of love’ that goes into each Luxury Pools & Outdoor project.
Strategic choices guided all decisions. We opted to limit retaining walls to under 900mm in height & spaced them more than 1m apart this proved immensely beneficial in the long run. Meticulous layout designs were crafted with utmost care to steer clear of encroaching on any property boundaries, demonstrating our respect for our neighbours' privacy. One inventive solution executed was creating a walkway to serve a dual function as both a garden area & a roof for the equipment room. This innovative design not only afforded additional space but also met roofing requirements without compromising neighbouring privacy yet again. Structural softscaping like Frangipani trees & cactus gardens built around the surrounds added a touch of the exotic & are also a nod to the summer months, that are so perfect for entertaining.
Knotwood wall panels in Smoke enhance the aesthetic & were chosen for their ease of use & minimal maintenance as well as its privacy. An aesthetic bonus was the playful shapes of sunlight that filter through the gaps of the timber batten blade fencing that dance across the pool. The Grain Smoked Oak decking by Millboard elevates the contemporary design whilst still showcasing the nuances of natural wood. Their enhanced grain range are slip-resistant, impact & weather-resistant which makes it ideal for outdoor pool areas. All the above elements fall into place, but as they say, the devil is in the details. The bespoke joinery by Luxury Pools & Outdoor Living & the use of hidden cabinetry & subtle design truly transcends this outdoor space.

Every detail has been considered & as Jason Diamond [Director] professes, this design truly has been ‘a labour a love’.
Innovation also takes centre stage, showcasing a myriad of features that effortlessly merge modern convenience with cutting-edge technology. From the Remco Swimroll cover & fully automated in-floor cleaning system to the dual Astral Viron Connect automation system, allowing remote control via smartphone or display. Every aspect has been meticulously considered.
Overall, there is a seamless connection to nature through strategic landscaping, organic shapes & architectural design practices. Careful planning, including the addition of a kitchen & wet bar, consolidates all entertainment within one area. The triumph of this design lies in its ability to comprehend the client's journey, aligning with their objectives & Luxury Pools & Outdoor Living's aesthetic vision.
This is a seamlessly integrated space that works in unison with the main house, with a curved stairwell playfully acting as the meeting point between the two living areas.
With it’s effortless style & coastal cool vibes, this outdoor space is a place to celebrate with family & friends providing a well-earned break from city life.
